“You’re the girl who left for Brazil without knowing anyone. You’re the girl who started her own company. A few days on the road will be easy peasy” - Pete Li

Before embarking on my journey, I chose to begin with Shamonic Healing. A karma yogi I had danced with in conscious movement created this healing mandala for me. She said, “what you see is what you receive”
During the Shamonic Journey, we closed our eyes, and entered our traumas, during which I felt my guide's loving hands over my face.
My frozen feet started to tingle, then burn with heat.
I felt nauseous after the journey I couldn’t even see.
Afterwards, I remember a woman named Amy holding my hand. She invited me to stay for the Blue Luminerian Sacred Sound Experience.

As I entered the room to sounds of whales, the room was glowing blue with wave simulations and singing bowls.
We started with a cocão ceremony, our guide played the drum as we faced the north, south, east, and west, giving gratitude for the earth and the sky.
After laying down, tears began pouring down my face. Our guide placed her singing bowl on my belly and as it vibrated the tears slid to my ears. She continued to play the bowls and, I felt as if though I was underwater, struggling to breathe. She then placed her playing stick on my third eye and I took the deepest breath of my life.

The woman who held my hand knew I shouldn’t be alone so we went to fill our bodies with the healing medicine of food at Coronado, a delicious vegan restaurant. We both agreed to “Energetically pay for each other” and giggled lovingly at our mutual understanding.
The words from Pete I will hold in my heart as I close my eyes a little frightened about what awaits on my journey ahead.
