1. I Pledge to Send Myself Loving Kindness
Practice Self Care. Before we can spread love to others, we must first love ourselves. This is one of the foundational practices that is essential for anyone who aspires to Spread Loving Kindness. If we are not taking care of ourselves physically, mentally, or emotionally, then there is simply no way we can shine brightly for others. Therefore, it’s essential that we take special care of ourselves so that we may better serve others.

2. I Pledge to Embrace Diversity
An important aspect of practicing compassion and spreading love is acceptance of cultures and lifestyles that might be different than our own. At birth, all people are born with the same intrinsic essence that radiates love and kindness. However, from a young age many of us are taught to view other nationalities, cultures, faiths, or orientations as a separate group ¨them¨. This problematic thinking creates barriers that can impede human connection. That´s why it's incredibly important to view each human being as a human being, and embrace the fact that we are all different as individuals, but one as humanity.

3. I Pledge to Share my Passion
Everyone has a unique gift that they are placed on this earth to share. It could be art, movement, writing, design, cooking, or anything that simply makes you happy. When we take the courageous step to share our gift with others, it creates a contagious energy that can benefit others in many different ways. You may inspire others to embrace their own gifts, or your simple act of sharing may have been just the thing that someone needed to smile that day.

4. I pledge to Live in the Present Moment
It´s amazing what happens when you embrace the present moment. The practice of being present is the only way you can truly be receptive to the opportunities for love and connection that occur in our daily lives. It's truly amazing when you begin to notice the situations and relationships that manifest themselves when you fully dedicate yourself to the current moment.

5. I Pledge to give Genuine Compliments daily
This is one of the simplest and easiest ways Ito put a smile on someone's face. A genuine compliment from the heart lets another person know that you notice them, and that they are not invisible. This simple act of kindness could be the turning point in the day of someone who might be feeling down!
6. I Pledge to Hug more

Humans were created to feel one another´s touch and embrace! One of the best ways to spread your love to another is through a warm embrace. Hugging increases levels of oxytocin, which is the hormone associated with bonding, which affects mood and behavior. Make it a goal to hug as many people as possible, even if you don´t know them very well!
7. I pledge to be me!
Place your right Hand on your heart and left hand on your belly. Affirm, 'this is me, I own it all. I am me, I love it all. '
