Spread Loving Kindness

Elizabeth
SLK Founder & CEO
Elizabeth Brewer has dedicated the past 12 years of her life to execute her lifelong mission to ‘spread loving kindness around the world one connection at a time.’ Elizabeth is the CEO and Founder of SLK, an organization and global movement, through which she has held healing ‘SLK Retreats’ and Congresses for students from over 12 different countries. From her experiences organizing SLK events, she found with her team that love is truly a universal language of human interaction, and by allowing people to fully express it in a virtual space through the form of an app, we can bring profound change to the world.
Elizabeth began her career in 2009, and has worked as a presenter and instructor at world-renowned health resorts in Arizona, Massachusetts, as well as abroad in Turkey and Brazil. In her personal life, she has done extensive volunteer and community work leading yoga, meditation and movement classes for the Boys and Girls Club, The Southern Arizona Arthritis Association, and in schools – where she started the first “yoga for disabilities” program at a university and won the Arizona Inclusive Excellence Award for these efforts. Her personal journey and triumphs have made her a devoted advocate for victims of domestic violence. Elizabeth is currently a Wellness Specialist & Instructor at one of the biggest tech companies in Silicon Valley. Elizabeth is a Yoga Alliance Certified Education Provider (YACEP), E-RYT Yoga Teacher, NASM CPT, Qualified Fletcher Pilates Instructor & Movement Therapist, AFAA certified GFI and CPT, and teacher of aerial yoga, dance, movement, and meditation. Elizabeth is passionate about transforming lives and inspiring others through the power of Loving Kindness.

He successfully grew the Austin Mindfulness group to over 2000 members. He still does meditation coaching for personal growth. He is a firm believer that the intersection between science, heart, and mind is a fruitful focal point.

He is a published author of multiple peer-reviewed papers in brain imaging, perception, signal modeling, and computational neuroscience. He holds a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Texas at Austin. He previously received a master’s degree in computational physics for the study of gravitational waves from black hole collisions.

Dustin
CIO
Dustin discovered the movement and his joy for spreading loving kindness through dance. He found that the movement brought meaning and addressed something that was lacking in the lives of many, including himself. He was soon hooked and wanted to provide the space for others to find their own journey.
Dustin directed the SLK retreat in SF, a transformational gathering consisting of dance, yoga, meditation, connection, healing, nature, and play.
Dustin also created the SLK Resources page, a community sourced database of abuse-related resources and information, support and shelter, for as many women and men around the world as possible.
In Dustin’s professional life, he has been working as a software engineer for 9 years and is now using his skill set to help develop and support the mission of SLK through virtual spaces!
